Get The Look Of Longer, Lusher, Fuller Eyelashes

Love your luxury mascara but hate the high price tag associated with it? Try this tip to keep your lashes, and your wallet, lush.

When your pricey makeup is almost gone, wash the wand and use it to apply a less-expensive drugstore brand. -- This works because most mascara formulas are similar, but the secret to great mascara is the innovative lash-separating brush. So, an expensive brush, with any brand, will yield great-looking, long, lush lashes for less!

Here’s another trick to make your eyelashes look longer and fuller:

When applying mascara, apply more than one coat. Wiggle the applicator side to side as you slowly work up the lash and then as you reach the end of the lash, hold it there for a few seconds. -- The wiggling separates and defines lashes as you apply and then holding there at the end of the lash (so it can dry a little with wand in place) gives you that added curl to the lash.

Makeup Minerals Beauty Tip: No Need To Buy Eyeliner Pencils

Save yourself a few dollars by using your eyeshadow minerals as an eyeliner instead of buying eyeliner pencils. Here's how to do it:
  • Using a flat eyeliner brush take a small amount of eyeshadow makeup minerals in the lid of the container and add a drop of water. (You want a creamy consistency so, you may need to add more water or minerals until you get it right.)
  • Remove excess makeup from applicator using the side of the lid.
  • Apply gently to the upper and/or lower lid lines as you would an eyeliner pencil.
The result is dramatic because the water brings out the natural opalescent colors of the mica.

Makeup Minerals Beauty Tip: Don't Spill It Everywhere

This is one of my favorite tips for makeup minerals! If you tend to make a mess when using loose foundation or blush, try this.

When you get your new package there will be a film over the sifter in your minerals, instead of removing that film, just take a pin and punch through one of the holes.

Now, very little can get through the sifter and you won't even need to use the lid to swirl your brush in, you can do it right in the jar!
